THE CHALLENGE
In the decades since Starbucks opened its first location in Seattle, a lot has changed, but Starbucks (and their competitors) have remained the same. We saw a hole in the market and developed a clear and focused plan to fill it. Gunpowder launched as a tea business but quickly pivoted to guayusa, an herb from South America that has a lot to offer over coffee.
